Rob Larson, MD

Dr. Robert Larson is an Aeromedical Specialist based in Kent, Washington, with extensive experience in both family and aerospace medicine. Dr. Rob began his flight career at age 13, soloing on his 16th birthday. His formal medical education includes graduation with honors from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1985, followed by a family practice residency at Hinsdale Hospital from 1985 to 1988. Dr. Rob served in the USAF as a flight surgeon prior to moving his family to rural Oregon, where he practiced family and emergency medicine for over 32 years in Silverton, Oregon. Dr. Larson retired from family medicine in 2024 to expand his aerospace practice, offering FAA flight examinations and consulting services to assist fellow pilots in their FAA-required medical certification process. Dr. Larson commutes between his offices in Kent, Washington, and Salem, Oregon, in his Vans RV-4.
